Poznote URL Saver is a browser extension developed by Timothé Poznanski as part of the Poznote project.

1. No Data Collection

Poznote URL Saver does not collect, store, process, or share any personal data.

• No personal information is collected.
• No user tracking is performed.
• No analytics services are used.
• No advertising is integrated.
• No data is shared with third parties.
• No browsing history is accessed or stored.

All data processed by the extension (URLs, page titles, credentials) is stored locally in your browser and only sent to your own Poznote instance that you configure.

2. How the Extension Works

The extension operates entirely on your device and communicates only with your self-hosted Poznote application:

• Local Storage: Your configuration (Poznote server URL, credentials, workspace, folder preferences) is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.
• Active Tab Access: When you click the save button, the extension reads the current tab's URL and title to save it to your Poznote application.
• Your Poznote Server: Data is sent only to the Poznote server URL that you configure. The developer has no access to this data.

3. Third-Party Services

Poznote URL Saver does not integrate any third-party services that collect user data.

The extension may be distributed via the Chrome Web Store, which may independently collect certain data under its own Privacy Policy. This is outside the control of the developer.

4. Permissions Explanation

The extension requests the following permissions, which are used exclusively for its core functionality:

• storage: Required for saving user configuration (Poznote server URL, credentials, workspace, and preferred folder) locally in the browser.
• tabs: Required for capturing screenshots of the current page using chrome.tabs.captureVisibleTab() when the user chooses the screenshot option.
• activeTab: Required for reading the URL and title of the current active tab when the user clicks the save button to create a note.
• *://*/api/v1/*: Required for communicating with the user's self-hosted Poznote application API endpoints to create notes, fetch workspaces, and load folders.

All permissions are used exclusively for the extension's core functionality. No data is collected, tracked, or shared with third parties. All operations are performed locally or sent only to the user's own configured Poznote server.

5. Children's Privacy

Poznote URL Saver does not knowingly collect any information from children or adults.
